Julius Odemi Brown is a prominent reservoir engineer and environmentalist with decades of experience in the Nigerian oil and gas sector, combining technical excellence with a passionate dedication to environmental advocacy. He holds degrees in Ecotoxicology & Pollution Management and International Environmental Law, equipping him to address complex environmental challenges in the energy sector. He has built a distinguished career as a Reservoir and Petroleum Engineer, having worked across development, production, and decline management projects for renowned energy companies such as Shell Petroleum Development Company, Seplat Petroleum, and Addax Petroleum Development Nigeria Limited. At Addax Petroleum, he was recognized as a key decision-maker with deep expertise in flow simulation, production forecasting, well operations, and project planning. In addition to engineering, Brown is a certified environmental auditor focusing on pollution and air quality management. He actively raises awareness about the economic and health impacts of indoor and outdoor environmental degradation in Sub-Saharan Africa, advocating for sustainable resource management and stricter ecological regulations. He currently serves as the Manager of the Community Relations Department at Antan Producing Limited, a subsidiary of NNPC.
